Jennifer Mehditash started her design business in Portugal in 1999 after working for the acclaimed auction house Sotheby's.
Relocating to New York in 2008 with her husband and 3 children, Jennifer was quickly able to establish as a boutique interior designer in this competitive market while creating custom designed homes for her clients with a very personalized approach. While based in Westchester, Mehditash Design successfully completed projects throughout New York, Connecticut, the Hamptons and Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket.
In response to the growing demand and a desire to expand its reach, Mehditash Design relocated its headquarters to Newport Beach, CA in 2015 bringing life to the "West Coast meets East Coast" design aesthetic.
One of the first projects in SoCal, and as 1 of 5 local Newport Beach designers, Jennifer Mehditash was invited by Robert Olson (R.D.O. Development) to design a private The Bay Cottage in the much acclaimed
Lido House Hotel. This cottage designed was recognized by winning the coveted award in the category "Living Large in Small Spaces" award, as well as garnering Jennifer the title of
"Overall Winner of the annual HGTV Faces of Design Award in 2018", with a private tour and interview featured on HGTV.
Current projects include the hospitality project of the redesign of the spa, Facialworks, and a few select private residences in Maui (HI), throughout SoCal (Newport Beach, Newport Coast, Laguna Beach) and in Manhattan (Tribeca) as well as private beach homes in Connecticut and Palm Beach, FL.
Remaining a boutique interior design firm is a fundamental key to our success! We pride ourselves in providing our clients with a tailored and custom design guided by the hands on approach that Jennifer brings to every project, while still accessing the 25 years of experience in both Residential and Hospitality design of much larger firms.
